ABOUT US

Reed City Heritage Museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created to house and display a memorial to the Rev. George Bennard, author of the famous hymn "The Old Rugged Cross", as well as historical artifacts from the city of Reed City and surrounding communities. The area has a rich history in logging, oil wells, manufacturing, railroads, and farming, and these areas are well represented through donated artifacts and displays.
We are an organization of volunteers dedicated to preserving and promoting our rich and varied history. Additional volunteers are always welcome!
